Mozartforum
While taking piano lessons as a child I was first introduced to Mozart's music. Later, as a teenager his piano concertos in particular became favorites. I became a big fan of the man himself after seeing "Amadeus", although it's not terribly accurate in its portrayal of his life.
Some years back I was fortunate to make some good friends on a Mozart discussion site, one of whom, Gary, inaugurated musicales at his home on a semi-regular basis, where we in the local area could meet, listen and discuss. Some time later, due to problems with the site we decided to start our own, the Mozartforum.
Thanks to the deep knowledge of several of the founders, Dennis, Gary and Catherine, and the technical savvy of Steve, who built the entire site, and design ideas from Steve and myself, the Mozartforum launched. It has grown tremendously over the years, with a large membership from all over the world.
